i peter. i peter out. i am a peterer. i dwindle. i give in. i give up.
i am also strong, brave, disciplined and determined.....for a little while. i have been known to have great strength of character...for any decidedly short amount of time. and then? and then, im done. i fade. this happens all the time and with seemingly zero provocation.
in case you haven't guessed, this week was not good. i gained 2 lb. yup. gained.
there were no big events that took place this week. nothing to place the blame on. just me. just me wanting to skate by...not wanting to work that hard.
that is not an option. i am unhealthy. sick. my body cannot handle the stress. it deserves better. the people i love deserve better.
i deserve better.

Just my 2 cents, but "I deserve better" needs to go first on that list! When we put other people & their needs first, we forget about ourselves. Make yourself #1, girl, you deserve it!!! Keep at it and that 2 pounds will be gone in no time, just remember to keep you at the top of your list!
You do deserve better! You're capable of better and I know you will be better this week :)
First of all, I love the cartoon pic! Too cute! lol
Secondly, we are not perfect. We all have bad weeks. Just don't let it turn into months and years. Because like you said, you deserve better!
Congrats to you for admitting the truth and focusing on the positive! It says a lot about you! (((Hugs)))
you can do this!
Yup, I hear you. I am always awesome for about a week or so, then I just simply poop out. I give up. Even in this I keep wanting to give up. YOu have to find that thing that makes you scrape yourself up off the floor and keep going. You can do it! Blogging about it is always good, people are so kind and supportive. Some days that's all I've got that makes me do this. No lie. So, like Teale said, put yourself first because you DO deserve better!!!
Smasher Girl, I love what Mark Twain said, "Habit is habit and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time." It takes time to break habits . . . AND to build new ones! Remember that when you stick to your plan and share with us your challenges in the very honest way that you do, you encourage all of us. It's so encouraging to read about your journey. It keeps us all on track and focused. It lets us know that we are not alone in how we are feeling. Oh and BTW, not only do you deserve better . . .You ARE better!! You go girl!
sighhhhhh....you guys are so great.
sereni-tea, your comment meant a lot to me! thank you. i've never heard that quote before from Mark Twain...i love it.
Hi Smasher Gil!!!
In response to the comment you left on my blog... Don't get me wrong, the scale is important to me. I weigh myself 1 time a week. From the begining of my journey I was told not to have main focus be on the scale. It comes in 4th to me on my list of tools. I hope this helps :)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day.
Lindsay
